Rancho Ponderosa
Rancho Ponderosa Community in Carlsbad
Rancho Ponderosa is located in South Carlsbad right off of Olivenhain Road and El Camino Real, off of the Leucadia Blvd exit of I-5. The majority of the homes were built between 1976 and 1978. The community consists of 417 homes and floor plans range from 1299 sq ft to the largest model 2804 sq ft. There are three neighborhood parks for residents to enjoy.
With low homeowners association dues and no Mello Roos, Rancho Ponderosa is an ideal place to live.
Residents enjoy top schools including El Camino Creek Elementary in the Encinitas Union School District, Oakcrest Junior High and either La Costa Canyon High School, San Dieguito Academy or Canyon Crest Academy for high school. La Costa Canyon is the neighborhood school and admission to the two academies is through a lottery.
Rancho Ponderosa is walking distance to great shopping and restaurants and only minutes away from the South Carlsbad State Park, the closest beach.
